The Fifty del Monte Real Club de Yates leads the Galician Solitary and Two-handed Championship

· The boat, skippered by the Portuguese Rui Ramada, completed 30 of the 52-mile regatta in just 3 hours

· The second position is disputed by the Castrosúa and the Marka, and the rest of the boats sail grouped at a certain distance

Rui Ramada’s Fifty and grímpola of the Monte Real Yacht Club of Bayonne leads the Galician Solitaire and Two-Handed Championship – Don Pedro de Soutomaior Regatta, which takes place this Saturday in the Rías Baixas.

The sailboat, which sailed at high speed from the first minutes of the test, managed to complete half of the 52-mile course in just 3 hours, and everything indicates that it will finish the test in record time.

The good state of the sea and the wind, which is beginning to increase in intensity, with gusts of up to 25 knots, is helping sailboats navigate. The Castrosúa and the Marka follow in the footsteps of the Fifty in a close duel between two, and the rest of the boats are sailing together at this time.

The competition can be followed live, minute by minute, through the Internet, on an online platform created especially for the regatta by the Valencian company TraceMyWay.

The final results will be known, predictably, after midnight. The awards ceremony will be held tomorrow, Sunday, at noon, at the facilities of the Monte Real Club de Yates de Bayonne.
