Members of Real Club Astur de Regatas are most than welcome at MRCYB. We offer them a 25% discount for mooring, for a maximum of 30 days (for 7 consecutive days maximum), after showing their member cards. In addition, they can get some discounts in our merchandising products.

Founded in 1911, on the principle and patronage of a group of enthusiastic young sport people from Gijón in a similar way to that of other cities and ports of the Cantabrian coast, they put together their efforts and interest for creating an entity whose aim, following the Art. 1 of the founding statutes, was to spread the interest for sailing, being unusual every political or religious act or expression. The link between the Army and the club is old and smooth and it is already in force, celebrating together, among others, the Festividad del Carmen. The club cedes its facilities with great honour to these acts. In a few words, the history of the club has been linked to the social history and Sport of Gijón.
