The Galician Sailing Federation has chosen the Monte Real Club de Yates to organize, for the twelfth consecutive year, the Galician Championship of A Dos, a competition that the Bayonian club dedicates to its former president Rafael Olmedo, who died in 2015, thus being the IX Rafael Olmedo Memorial. The event, in which the MRW Trophy is also at stake, is, due to its characteristics, one of the most exciting of the sailing season in Galicia, since sailboats with crews reduced to the maximum compete in it, with two sailors on board .
